we make funding more fair + accessible for african leaders.

WE believe those closest to the challenges are closest to the solutions.

Local leaders are designing innovative solutions that drive faster, more sustainable change. But too often, funding goes elsewhere.

That’s why we exist.

We work alongside African leaders to refine strategy, strengthen fundraising, and amplify how they share their stories, so they can shift who holds influence in global development conversations.

In other words — We put our partners at the table with the right funders, the right materials, and the right strategy that helps them grow.

the sector stands at an inflection point.

In a recent African Philanthropy Forum and Bridgespan Group survey, 87% of respondents agreed there is a funding disparity facing African NGOs. Nearly half identified it as one of the sector’s most pressing problems.

Just 5.9% of grants made from US foundations to support sub-Saharan Africa went to local change-makers.

Only 0.4% of international aid is received by local NGOs directly.

As traditional aid systems are dismantled, we face a rare opportunity to reimagine philanthropy and development.

AFRICAN LEADERS ARE READY. WE’RE READY TO BACK THEM.

How we partner

A woman with a white headscarf and a black and yellow floral patterned dress holds a young child with dark curly hair and a striped beige shirt. The woman is smiling, and the child is resting his hand on his mouth, looking at the camera. They are sitting outdoors near a wooden post, surrounded by other women.

with NGOs

We provide African leaders with senior-level fundraising support that is too often out of reach.

We partner for a full year, allowing us time for transformative changes.

We roll up our sleeves to co-create strategies that are practical, actionable, and tailored to each organization.

We bring our experience, connections to funders, and hands-on support to build systems, strengthen fundraising, and amplify each story, so African leaders can grow their impact with confidence.

We’re selective by design. We only partner with NGOs whose ideas, ambition, and potential make our collaboration meaningful and effective.

with Funders

We demystify community-led PROGRAMS, SO THEY become the norm, not the exception.

We de-risk engagement with high-potential, under-resourced talent, enabling philanthropists to support African-led impact with greater confidence.

We provide holistic support “in the service of fundraising,” using our expertise and networks to build the core systems organizations need across fundraising, M&E, communications, finance, and more. In other words, we make sure nonprofits aren’t just ready to fund, but ready to grow when funding arrives.

We partner with philanthropists to resource an Access Fund, keeping our work high-touch and tailored while allowing nonprofit partners to contribute at a sustainable level.
